the major event in the life of georgia-the "RTVELI" or grape harvest
in the villages of famous wine region
near Signagi and Telavi. Help to pick the grapes, enjoy special wine from
ceramic vessel-kvevri, watch the grapes to by processed into
"churchkhela" (georgian candy), tour the wine factory, taste some
famous. kakhetian wines, have a georgian "SUPRA" with delicious
national Satsivi, Khinkali, Khachapuri etc. "Bread, Cheese and Kind heart"-we
say in Georgia. We offer also to introduce traditions, history and the attitude
of Georgians to the wine they produce. We will visit the main wineries in
Tbilisi and Kakheti. The cellars of the town´s main winery hold an old and
extensive collection including rare Napoleonic cognacc. In Telavi we will taste
the Manavi, Tsinandali, Kindzmarauli, Teliani and Mukuzani labels.
